Leadership Realities.
Credibility is the first hurdle of leadership: does the individual pass the "laughter test", i.e. if their name is mentioned do colleagues guffaw or view their current impact and future potential seriously?
Capability is the set of skills that leaders can deploy to master the key functions of organisational life. Here we look at outstanding strengths, as well as gaps, and the versatility that individuals can draw on to meet the full range of leadership challenges.
Character is our return to that old fashioned set of concepts around integrity, trust, courage, resilience, attributes that we think have been obscured in the language of competency frameworks and emotional intelligence.
Career management is the fourth C that identifies leaders with the self management skills and political skills who possess the street smarts and savvy to survive and thrive within corporate life.
